Zhang Yimou’s New Urban Crime Fiction Dropped A Dazzling Trailer

“Under the Light”, the next feature film from Chinese auteur Zhang Yimou, has completed production and released its first trailer on social media. In this dazzling trailer, we see a lot of familiar faces including top Chinese actors Lei Jiayin, Zhang Guoli, Yu Hewei, and Zhou Dongyu. Notably, this is the second time that Zhou Dongyu collaborated with Zhang Yimou since “Under the Hawthorn Tree” –a film where Zhou debuted almost a decade ago.
