‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ Premiered in China with Cast Members in Attendance

On May 29, a grand premiere ceremony for 20th Century Fox’s film X-Men: Dark Phoenix took place in Beijing. Cast members of the film including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Sophie Turner, Evan Peters and Tye Sheridan attended the event. In addition to the over 1500 attendees at the main venue in Beijing,  over 1000 audiences from other  five cities had the opportunities to tune in and interact with the cast members. China to Remake South Korean Film ‘Sunny’

A Chinese remake of 2011 South Korean drama film Sunny is being developed, according to sources familiar with the matter. Recently, a casting call for the remake also appeared on the internet. The film is centered around a group of middle school friends and their reunion 25 years after their graduation. Last year, the film was remade in Japan with Suzu Hirose and Ryoko Shinohara playing the leading roles. At the end of last year, Universal Pictures announced that the studio would make an American version of the film. Read more on Mtime
