Accounting firm PwC’s annual “Global Entertainment & Media Outlook” contains forecasts for 2023-2027 across various industry sectors, including some noteworthy projections for cinema revenue, both in terms of box office and in terms of movie theater advertising. Plus, China will “lead global total cinema revenue for much of the forecast period,” hitting box office revenue of $13.2 billion in 2027, compared to a forecast of $11.9 billion for North America.
