China’s National Day Film ‘My People My Country’ to Release in Over 30 Countries 

My People My Country, a film made as a tribute to the founding of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, has been set to release across China on September 30, which is the day before China’s National Day. The film is comprised of seven stories directed by seven different filmmakers, including Chen Kai-ge, Zhang Yibai, Guan Hu, Xue Xiaolu, Xu Zheng, Ning Hao, and Wen Muye. On September 19, a promotional event for the film took place at the National Library of China in Beijing with crew members from all seven stories attending the event. My Tyrano: Together, Forever, an animated film based on Japanese author Tatsuya Miyanishi’s comic book series Tyrannosaurus Series, has been scheduled to release in China on October 19. Limited preview screenings of the film will also be scheduled during China’s national day holiday between October 5 and October 7. The film is directed by Kobun Shizuno and Lin Zhaozhen. Renowned Japanese musician Ryuichi Sakamoto wrote the score. In the film, a Tyrannosaurus rex who doesn’t eat meat met a baby pterodactyl who cannot fly. The two embark on an adventurous journey  in search for the oasis while conquering their own fears during the process. Read more on Mtime
