Upcoming American fantasy adventure comedy film Jumanji: The Next Level has been set to release in China day and date with the U.S. on December 13, according to an announcement released today. The film is a sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and will again star Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan. In addition, Asian American actress Awkwafina, who became widely known for her performance in Crazy Rich Asians, will also appear in the film. Cambodian Chinese Co-production ‘Cambodian Love’ to Release in Chinese Theaters

On November 7, a premiere ceremony and press conference for Cambodian Chinese romantic drama Cambodian Love (Jian Ai) took place at the National Museum of China in Beijing. Officials from both countries’ cultural departments attended the event. The film was made in correspondence with China’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative and on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of China-Cambodia diplomatic relations.
