‘Avengers: Endgame’ Rakes In Over $100 Million at Pre-sale in China

At midnight of April 24, Avengers: Endgame opened in China – two days ahead of the film’s US release. According to Maoyan, Avengers 4: Endgame hit RMB700 million (US$104 M) in ticket sales as of 8 PM on April 23, which made it become the first film in China that exceeded RMB700 million in pre-sales. For its opening day, the film has grossed RMB661 million (US$98 M) at the box office as of press time. ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Scores China Release

Godzilla: King of the Monsters has been scheduled for theatrical release in China on May 31st, the same day in North America. Following its previous film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters follows the members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch cooperates in efforts against a battery of monsters including Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah.
