Director Qiu Yang, who won Palme d’Or for Best Short Film at the Festival de Cannes last year for A Gentle Night, and producer Jing Wang, whose Old Stone won Best Canadian First Feature Film at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016, will be participating in the 16th Berlinale Talents at the upcoming Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale).
Berlinale Talents is an annual event that brings 250 outstanding filmmakers together for six days, with approximately 100 events taking place during the program, including workshops and talks given by internationally renowned experts and acclaimed Berlinale guests. The 2018 Berlinale Talents will be held at the HAU Hebbel am Ufer, from February 17 to 22.
