Two China’s Biggest Games Streaming Firms DouYu and Huya Enter Into Merger Agreement

Huya and DouYu, two China’s largest games streaming companies have entered into a merger agreement that was initiated by Tencent. Assuming that the deal can receive regulatory approval, the merged company will be a game streaming behemoth with some 300 million monthly active users, which would account for as much as 80% of the market as estimated.
