Tencent Music Entertainment Published Q3 Report, Achieving Milestone of 50 Million Paying Online-Music Users

Tencent Music Entertainment(TME), the owner of QQ Music, Kugou, and Kuwo Music, published its Q3 2020 financial report. According to the number posted, TME has earned a total revenue of RMB 7.58 billion (USD 1.12 billion) for the third quarter, up 16.4% year-on-year. The number of paying users has also reached a milestone of 51.7 million people, which marks a 46% year-on-year annual growth. According to the report, the strong performance demonstrated in this quarter, is linked with the company’s active strategies to ink deals with labels and expand content offerings.
