4th Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival Calls For Scripts And Film Projects
Funded my Chinese leading auteur Jia Zhangke, the fourth edition of Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival just opened the “Pingyao Project Promotion” section, calling for filmmakers to submit their scripts and film projects for review. Coupled with the “Working-In-Progress” competition section, the “Pingyao Project Promotion” aims to bring more recognition and spotlight for promising film projects that are at the early stage of development. COO of Video Streaming Platform Youku Will Be Transferred to Another Post Within Alibaba
Zhuo Ran, the COO of video streaming platform Youku and also the CTO of Alibaba’s Entertainment Unit, will soon take a new position and become the CEO of the traveling service website Fliggy—which is also a company owned by Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.. During his time at Youku, Zhuo Ran successfully released the hit historical drama “The Longest Day in Chang’an” and the well-received reality show “Street Dance of China Season 2”, through which two shows Youku’s membership number was significantly increased in 2018.
