2 Chinese Films Hit Billion-Yuan Box Office in the First Half of National Holiday

Two Chinese films have made 1 billion yuan (about US$147 million) each at domestic box office during the ongoing national holiday, movie-ticketing and film data platform Maoyan said Sunday. At 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Chinese comedy feature “My People, My Homeland” hit 1 billion yuan in total box office revenue since its opening on Thursday.
