Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival

Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival (TGHFF) is the largest film festival in Taiwan. Starting in 1980 as a non-competitive showcase, TGHFF aims at introducing prominent cinema from around the world, in order to promote cinema as an art form and to enhance intercultural understanding through cinema.

2019 Golden Horse Classic Film Festival:Voyage to Italy

Last year, in celebration of the centennial of Swedish maestro in cinematic arts, we have brought about a heavyweight Ingmar Bergman: The Centennial Retrospective, including 38 cinematic works of his, as a tribute to the late filmmaker, in addition to our regular Golden Horse Film Festival (November) and Golden Horse Fantastic Film Festival (April). The enthusiastic resonance and feedback from the cinephiles are far beyond our expectation, which in turn triggers the Golden Horse Classic Film Festival this summer.
