Two Local Romance Films to Join ‘Little Women’ for Qixi Festival Screening

Two Chinese romance drama films, “Love You Forever,” and “Wild Grass,” are joining “Little Women,” a new cinematic adaptation of American classic novel of the same name, for release on the Qixi Festival, which falls on this Tuesday. All three of these films were previously scheduled for release on Feb. 14 but postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Qixi Festival, often referred as Chinese Valentine’s Day, falls on every 7th day of the 7th month according to the Chinese lunar calendar. Chinese streaming giant iQiyi recently launched its original youth rap music reality show “The Rap of China 2020”, the fourth season of the phenomenally popular reality show series. This year’s star-studded panel of judges comprises international recording artist and actor Kris Wu, rapper, singer and producer Will Pan, singer and producer Jane Zhang and rapper, singer, and songwriter GAI.
