‘Better Days’ Exceeds US$200 Million at Chinese Box Office
After nearly a month in theater, Chinese teen drama Better Days has grossed RMB1.5 billion (US$213.20 M) at the Chinese box office, according to Chinese online ticketing platform Maoyan. The total attendance of the film has crossed the 40-million mark. Currently, Better Days stays ninth place in the list of China’s top 10 highest-grossing movies for 2019. 2019 Adventure drama film Ad Astra has been set to release in Chinese theaters on December 6, according to sources familiar with the matter. The film is produced, co-written, and directed by James Gray and stars Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland.
