Tencent Fights for ‘Honor of Kings’ Trademark in China

Recently, a liquor production company in China’s Guizhou province successfully registered the Honor of Kings trademark as a liquor brand. Chinese internet giant Tencent who owns the hit game of the same name is obviously unhappy with this situation. As a response, Tencent filed an objection with the National Intellectual Property Bureau of China. Beijing UCCA to Present Online Screenings of Sci-fi Films 

The UCCA Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing is partnering with Tencent Video, Folding Universe and HUGOEAST to present “Sci-Fi Matrix: Universes in Our Minds,” an online film event with screenings of three feature films and about 20 short films. Three online panels on science fiction films will also be presented along with the screenings. The event will take place from March 20 to April 6. The three feature films in the lineup are Danchi, The Congress and Coherence. Read more on directube
