On Wednesday, Chinese media measurement company FanInk released an analysis report about China’s film and TV content consumers in 2019. Co-authored by Beijing Film Academy, FanInk’s report aims to provide film distributors and exhibitors with a more accurate and straightforward portrayal of Chinese film and TV content consumers. The entire report consists of three parts—the demographic and viewing habits of Chinese moviegoers in 2019, consumer perception on theater released films in 2019, and TV content consumers’ demographic and viewing habits. Live-streaming Game Company DouYu Delivered A Strong Q1 Performance 

Tencent-backed game-centric live streamer DouYu reported a staggering profit growth in Q1, as consumers spent most of their time indoors in the first quarter of 2020. Douyu’s strong performance in Q1 is neck-and-neck with the industry top 1 Huya Livestreaming, who also reported an impressive 2.4 billion yuan gross revenue in Q1.
