Feature Film ‘A Little Red Flower’ Continues Leading Chinese Box Office

Local family film “A Little Red Flower” has dominated Chinese box office since its debut on December 31, raking in over 803 million yuan in five days, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed Tuesday. Featuring the rising young actor Jackson Yee, the touching film recounts the story of two families battling cancer. Coming in second was Chinese comedy “Warm Hug,” which has grossed over 550 million yuan so far. Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau’s crime thriller “Shock Wave 2” came in third. Since its December 24 debut, the film had pocketed 844 million yuan. Read more CGTN
