The 34th Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival

A key highlight of the annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month activities, the Festival is produced by Visual Communications, the nation’s premier Asian Pacific American media arts center, and enjoys broad support from cinema artists and audiences alike. The 4th Annual Ithaca Pan Asian American Film Festival

April 1 - April 30

The fourth annual IPAAFF continues to support Asian/Asian American and Pacific Islander film, video, and media makers both nationwide and throughout the upstate New York area while promoting films created by, starring, and/or about Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The festival will feature film screenings, academic panel discussions, workshops and activity booths, and a closing gala. The dates are TBA.

The 29th Singapore Chinese Film Festival

April 1 - April 30

SCFF has come a long way since the first edition! In 2013, Centre for Chinese Studies, Singapore University of Social Sciences (CCS@SUSS, formerly UniSIM Centre for Chinese Studies) and SFS co-founded the annual film festival in an effort to fill the gap in the screening of Chinese films. The SCFF is going to be held in April 2018; the exact dates are TBA.

The 8th Beijing International Film Festival – Film Market

With a focus on the combination and application of Chinese and Western culture, BJIFF aims to bring extensive and profound Chinese culture to the filmmakers with different cultural backgrounds. There is also going to be a Film Market Exhibition which aims to provide an all-round exchange and trading platform for domestic and overseas film practitioners. With the increasing brand influence of BJIFF, the Exhibition has established good connections. 255 exhibitors from around the world completed registration for the 7th BJIFF.

The 17th Annual Tribeca Film Festival

The annual Tribeca Film Festival will bring a slate of films to New York City from diverse creators and storytellers from April 18-29, 2018. The 2018 Festival will continue the momentum from last year’s fest, which saw record-setting attendance numbers and garnered its highest percentage of film sales to distributors. Highlights from last year’s festival included reunions of iconic film casts such as The Godfather and Reservoir Dogs. Moscow International Film Festival

The Moscow International Film Festival is the film festival first held in Moscow in 1935 and became regular since 1959. From its inception to 1959 it was held every second year in July, alternating with the Karlovy Vary festival. The festival has been held annually since 1995.
